The building, is also called Semenenko Memorial, as it was presented to the Synod by a banker of Russian origin, Serge Semenenko more than 50 years ago. Built by the famous architect William A. Delano it has become a part of Russian culture of New York.
The tour will be in English and Russian.
Celebrating the 10th Russian American History Month in New York State
The main objective of "Russian-American History Month" is to provide learning opportunities for the general public, especially students in schools and universities, that will draw attention to the history of Russian Americans and the productive role they have played and continue to play, in the history of the United States.
