Ballet performance will be opened with a proclamation from Governor Cuomo, naming the evening the first State-wide celebratory event to commemorate Russian American History Month in partnership with the Russian American Cultural Heritage Center, Inc.

Celebrating the 10th Russian American History Month in New York State
The main objective of "Russian-American History Month" is to provide learning opportunities for the general public, especially students in schools and universities, that will draw attention to the history of Russian Americans and the productive role they have played and continue to play, in the history of the United States.
