Each year a delegation of Russian Americans visits the NYS Senate and Assembly and witnesses passing a Resolution endorsing April as Russian American History Month in New York.
Celebrating the 10th Russian American History Month in New York State
The main objective of "Russian-American History Month" is to provide learning opportunities for the general public, especially students in schools and universities, that will draw attention to the history of Russian Americans and the productive role they have played and continue to play, in the history of the United States.
